We know, we know, you’re dying to start your “cheat meal a few days early, but you don’t have to sacrifice taste for health. We talked to Brooke Alpert, a NYC-based nutritionist and founder of B Nutritious, who knows exactly what your body needs to stay fit and healthy long after the workout is over. She dished to us a list of delicious snacks to treat yourself post-workout.

  1. Apple and peanut butter is one of my favorite running snacks. I eat it almost every day, even the days I don’t run! As simple as it sounds, chocolate milk is a great post-run snack too.
