How To: Halloween-Perfect Knife Eyeliner

If you have no idea what you want to do for Halloween, look no further. This simple-yet-unique eyeliner trend taking over Instagram will have you looking goth-chic in no time!

The combination of black eyeliner, glitter eyeliner, and red matte lipstick creates the look of a knife dripping blood from your eyes.

Start out with the black liner. Instead of a typical straight line, create an empty rectangle with the lash line as the base. Wing it out to create the handle of the knife. For a smooth and easy application, try these products:

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Liner

Next, fill in the rectangle in with the silver glitter! It will make the eyes pop and the knife seem to come alive. For the most pigmented and long-lasting products, try these:

Sephora Collection Colorful Shadown and Liner

Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liner in Glam Rock

For the finishing touch, use the applicator of your red matte liquid lipstick to create blood drops on the lower eyelid. These liquid lipsticks are perfect for the job:

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Kitten Heels

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Sarafine
